Gwenaël Mario Grisi is an Italian-Belgian composer and orchestrator, whose expert command of symphonic sound has made him an in-demand collaborator on Academy Award-winning films, acclaimed TV series, and large-scale international productions. He composed the score for the third season of the TV series Public Enemy (RTBF/Netflix), as well as the documentary L’empire du silence (directed by Thierry Michel) and De La Piste Aux Etoiles (directed by Stéphane De Groodt). He also composed the soundtrack for the short film Muscle Masqué, nominated at the Magritte du Cinéma Awards. He has recorded over a dozen hours of music at renowned studios like Abbey Road and AIR Studios, working on globally recognized shows including The Official National Days in the Emirates, the AIMAG opening and closing ceremonies, Luc Petit’s QingShow, and Vantara.

In addition to composing, he is a sought-after orchestrator whose credits include major international productions such as the multi Academy Award-winning Emilia Pérez, Disney’s Lady And The Tramp, and Le Comte De Monte-Cristo, working with top composers such as Joe Trapanese, Philippe Rombi, Clément Ducol, Mathieu Lambolet, Matthieu Gonet, etc., in collaboration with top film, TV, and game studios including  Disney, Lucasfilm, Warner Bros, and Mediawan.

He is also an accomplished contemporary composer, having held a residency with the Orchestre Philharmonique Royal de Liège, where he composed several major works including the viola concerto On the Reel, Le Livre De La Jungle, Ali Baba, and a Horn Concerto.

Early in his career, he won the Tactus Award for his orchestral score Di Polvere a Polvere and later received recognition at international festivals, including an Honorable Mention at the Festigious International Film Festival and Best Original Soundtrack at the Oniros Film Awards for A Little Payback. He holds three master’s degrees in Composition, Music Theory, and Media Scoring from a Belgian Conservatory, and further refined his craft through mentorships and workshops with acclaimed Hollywood composers Christopher Young and Conrad Pope.
